Merry Christmas, Kristen!!!

Welcome to the Kidspired Creations team!  I am so excited that KC can now have an extension to make custom tutus, bows, and more!  Your business name?  KIDSPIRED COUTURE by Kristen Caruso!  Slogan?  Tutus, bows and more!  All custom couture!!!  Check out your new e-mail address at kidspiredcouture@gmail.com!  This will be how YOUR customers will contact you for questions or to place an order.  And of course, don't forget your own WEBSITE!!!  kidspiredcouture.blogspot.com!!!

Here is your to-do list (when the Christmas festivities wind down):
1.  Sit down with MOI so I can give you a tour and teach you some tricks to easy posting and navigation.

2.  Set up e-mail forwarding to your e-mail address that you use most often so you don't miss any e-mails from customers.  I try to reply to e-mails within 24 hours to ensure a friendly and prompt customer service.

3.  Play around with design and ease of use for your personal webpage, but as long as we're teaming up, I tried to keep the logos and design similar (but not necessarily identical) to Kidspired Creations for a sense of uniformity.  (If you don't like something that I've done on here, please feel free to change it... it won't hurt my feelings.)

4.  Create your About Me page!  I'll let you do your own bio.  If you need inspiration, you can check out my bio.

5.  Write a kick-off post to introduce yourself to your new customers.  I will be advertising your website on Facebook, Twitter and Blogger as a new line for Kidspired Creations created by my fabulous and talented sister-in-law!  I will also set it up so that when you add a post to your blog, it will automatically post to the Kidspired Creations Facebook and Twitter pages.  So as soon as you are ready to go, I will set those up!

6.  Decide on product and shipping costs and post them to your Pricing page (located at the top of your blog).  I normally just price each product and put "+ shipping" since locations and weight affect the shipping cost.

7.  You can set up a PayPal account for people to pay you online (versus them sending you personal checks to your home address).  I haven't exactly figured this out yet, so if you figure it out, you can help me too!

Just a tip:  Try not to overbook yourself because, as I have learned the hard way, it can easily become more of a chore than a hobby.  And then it's REALLY hard to get motivated to do what you once loved to do!  Just put up a post that says, "Temporarily closed," until you've caught up and feel like making pretty things again!

I am super excited about your new adventure!!!  I hope you like your new website!  I look forward to sharing it with all of the Kidspired Creations fans!  Yay!

Love you and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
Casey
